Enhance Your Research with Zotero Connector: A Must-Have Chrome Extension

Chrome extension only works sometimes.

Once added to toolbar, clicking "Zotero Connector" just takes me to the "Download Zotero Connector" page. So...doesn't work :(

The Zotero app is great, the Chrome plugin (Mac) is unfortunately limited. 1. Please switch off the initial messages in the Chrome console, this is simply extremely annoying if you need the console for debugging 2. Please make sure to offer the possibility to open Zotero after clicking on the icon, other providers can do that too, for example Obsidian. I just don't want Zotero to be permanently open 3. Capturing the snapshot takes too long, the competition can do it much faster

Awful. Chrome extension is nonfunctional. I have tried closing and reopening everything, restarting device, etc. I have had issues with Zotero from day one. Would NOT recommend. Abysmal application. Completely unable to integrate with Google docs. A waste of my time.

It's easy to use of course. One feature request here: can you allow us to not add certain page to zotero? Sometimes it's easy to mis-click on the plugin icon on other pages, but there's no option to delete that entry other than in the app. Add one button to not add to zotero would be very nice!

This was fantastic until it just stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times and the extension just no longer works mid way through a paper.

Doesn't seem to be working!

I'm using chrome on a Chromebook. Apparently that doesn't work. I'm working on my masters thesis and this garbage didn't help at all.

I use it daily in my studies in either Google Chrome or Opera (that needs an extension that allows Google extensions).

Zotero is really difficult to use, the UI is very complicated and not at all intuitive.

Zotero links broken randomly which is horrible when you are typing a research paper that has a lot of citations.

It used to work perfectly, but the latest release does not pick book metadata from Amazon books...I cant wait for a fix...

Zotero allows me to manage collections of documents, local, on the web... Want to avoid SEO driven search engines? Zotero helps with that. Want a smarter alternative to browser Bookmarks? Zotero helps with that. Want your own copy of online resources, just in case they disappear? Zotero helps with that. The list goes on... I can't believe I ever lived without Zotero.

When is Google going to approve the extension for Zotero .

I have changed my laptop and even after syncing all the files could not found on my new laptop. what a nightmare...!!! Please tell me why even after syncing my it is showing deleted.

You say the problem is Google Docs, but MS Word extension is also dysfunctional right now. This is very bad because the scientific work it is used for is heavily dependent on time schedules. Nobody has time to transfer citations as they take hours to compile already, and Zotero has a really narrow margin of error in terms of operational quality. Now we see it is completely failing. I might have to switch to Mendeley, which is a decision I am not happy with, but obliged to, in order to continue my work. How can we trust Zotero to NOT mess up in a critical time in the future too?

Zotero is not functioning in both Google Chrome and Firefox. I understand the development team is working diligently, but I rely heavily on Zotero for my research, and I have a deadline of 21-02-2024. Please prioritize the resolution as soon as possible. Thank you.

Zotero just ruined all of the citations in my dissertation with whatever bug is going on with google docs. Unreliable nightmare!

I really love zotero, but something happened today in google docs. When I want to cite a source it shows some google docs menu and not zotero window to search. I am looking forward for a fix!
