Excellent integration to Zotero, I use it all the time for my literature review! Super helpful
Please I am unable to save documents again through chrome to Zotero
I've used this since it first came out and rely on it heavily for research and teaching. But since 2026, it cannot seem to consistently pull author names, dates, and other critical data from sites correctly. It often just grabs words at random, resulting in confidently wrong information. I can't help but suspect this is due to some AI integration Zotero is using. Maybe I'm wrong about that bit, but regardless of why, Zotero Connector sucks now.
It is recommended by the fans in Redbook which is one of the most popular platform in China. I have installed the tool while I have no choice of how to use it surfing the Internet.I hope that I can helped by more specific and clearly instruction.
I love using this app. It saves of great amount of time leaving me with enough time to focus on other aspect of the literature review. A big "thank you" to the team
This is good in principle, but if you look at your citations in Google docs with the wrong facial expression, there's a 95% chance they will unlink - good luck figuring out how to link them - your time is better spent adding the citations one by one from scratch...
I think it has a very huge potential for being a very useful tool for bookworms.
Ulcerative colitis
I feel like I used to be able to assign a folder when saving a paper, but I don't seem to be able to do that anymore. Is that a feature that went away?
A comforting constant while I'm losing my mind
it sucks
nice
Very slow work is shown by this software. It also has a lot of error.
Experienced memory leak issue. It frequently raises a process named subframe in Chrome task manager that takes up ~4GB of memory.
I loveeeee this software. It's convenient and easy to use.

Zotero is amazing. Please pay for it so they can continue improving it. Also the extra storage is vital!
Zotero, the life saver. Zotero save me from massive embarrassment today. You've just made a very loyal user.
This Chrome extension is a must-have for anyone using Zotero. It makes adding citations to my library a breeze. It works very well across all journal websites I have used it on. Adding the PDF files is a great bonus.
I absolutely love new version 7 of Zotero with all those colours, notes, smart citation suggestions and everything. Thank you all for your precise work!!! I am your very fan! My connector works perfectly both for Chrome and for Brave, no bugs.
Objectively the best reference manager out there due to three key factors: a) it's free, b) extremely user-friendly and, c) it gives you liberty to choose your storage space. To get additional storage, you can either support the project via subscription or you can use the WebDAV server of your choice.
Excellent tool for academic writing
Zotero and the Connector made it possible for me to finish my PhD. I can't imagine doing academic writing without them.
This works for me for my research work. Better experience compared to Mendeley.
Chrome extension only works sometimes.
Once added to toolbar, clicking "Zotero Connector" just takes me to the "Download Zotero Connector" page. So...doesn't work :(
The Zotero app is great, the Chrome plugin (Mac) is unfortunately limited. 1. Please switch off the initial messages in the Chrome console, this is simply extremely annoying if you need the console for debugging 2. Please make sure to offer the possibility to open Zotero after clicking on the icon, other providers can do that too, for example Obsidian. I just don't want Zotero to be permanently open 3. Capturing the snapshot takes too long, the competition can do it much faster
Awful. Chrome extension is nonfunctional. I have tried closing and reopening everything, restarting device, etc. I have had issues with Zotero from day one. Would NOT recommend. Abysmal application. Completely unable to integrate with Google docs. A waste of my time.
Nice app for researchers
Amazing, saved a ton of time, great efficient... mind-blowing
